Ask yourself how much of your fursona do you want to be you? Or how you want to be?

persona oc ideas

My advice is to balance them. Still you want to have a little fun. Pick a few traits from yourself to put into your fursona good and bad so that they feel relatable andwell, like YOU. Take about 4 good things and 2 bad things. Got em? Now think about what kind of character archetypes you like.

What are your favorite characters like? Mix the traits you chose with an archetype. Different animals have different traits both actually in the animal and ascribed to them by cultures. I know you love wolves, I love wolves, most furries love wolves, wolves are super cool but most furries have a background as a wolf kid and thus choose wolves based on that.

Find an animal you have a real connection with! Heck, if you want pointers just ask me and I can rec you some species that fit that description. Intelligent: some of the most intelligent animals in the world are border collies, elephants, parrots, ravens, primates monkeysdolphins, rats, and alligators. Tough guys: some animals that are known for their fighting prowess are: Kangaroos, blue jays, wolverines, sharks, tasmanian devils thats me!

If you like big cute ears try rabbits, bats, and fennec foxes. If big tails are your thing cats, any kind of lizard, coatimundis, squirrels, seals and these double as tiny fluffs too old world monkeys. Myth and legends: Dragons of the west are the more brutish beasty fellows and of the east are wise and mystical.

Phoenixes, Pegasus, kirins and unicorns are all horsey ones. Kaiju count here as well. Wanna be playful? There are dogs of course but also cats, horses, weasels and ferrets etc. The creator of the species owns it and every member of it ever made. Before I really get into this article, it's important to note that you do not need a Steampunk persona or "steamsona" in order to be a Steampunk, or wear Steampunk clothes. Some people like to pretend to be a different person when dressed up in Steampunk clothing, but that is entirely optional, and only to be done if it appeals to you.

That said, even if you aren't actually acting as your character, it may still be helpful to have one in mind when putting together an outfit. Personally, I've found that it really helps with outfit cohesion. Steampunk personas should really resonate with you in some way, or else you'll find that you may start to run short on inspiration, or get tired of working on it before you finish. Steampunk, along with costuming of most varieties, is a labor of love.

If you don't love it, you'll just end up hating yourself.

How to make a fursona (that you'll want to keep)

So how do you choose a persona that resonates with you? I can't really say exactly how, but usually you know it when you see it. I'll list a few typical archetypes and then give you the tools to create your own.

In Steampunk, most characters are based around what they do, so that's what we'll look at. Pretty much everyone knows what a pirate is, and in Steampunk the pirate is used most often aboard an airship, hence the common trope of the airship pirate. Airship pirates usually have outfits that have been cobbled together from things they've "picked up" aka "stolen" here and there, and their personalities range from the good-hearted rogue to the malicious scoundrel.

Photo by Anima Likely gadgets for a pirate would be things like goggles, vision-enhancing things telescope, periscopenavigation things compass, sextantshort guns, and other small hand-to-hand weapons despite the huge hammer in the above picture.

An adventurer is generally a person of means who has decided to go "adventuring". Their outfits tend to be more coordinated than the pirate, and may be more reminiscent of formalwear. Adventurers usually have a spirit of, well, adventure, and want to explore the world and get into trouble. Typical gadgets for an adventurer would be a weapon of any variety, some type of body armor, pouches for holding things, communication devices, and maybe a cane or parasol. A scientist is someone who Does Science in capital letters.

Their outfit may be reminiscent of a lab coat, and may also include goggles, gloves, glasses, and other words that start with 'g'. Photo from John C. They can be the typical "mad scientist", or the more sober research scientist.

Gadgets that a scientist might have include things like vision-enhancing microscopes, Tesla coils like the Tesla gun aboverecording equipment, safety equipment, etc. Aristocrats generally live a life of leisure and can do whatever they like. As such, they can either be selfish or philanthropic, mean or nice. Their clothes are Nice with a capital N, and are always formal. For the ladies, fancy corsets over or under the clothes, dependinglace, and hats that are either too big or too small.

Above all, aristocratic outfits are either very tasteful, or are very deliberately over-the-top. The middle ground will just make them look sloppy. Aristocrats may not even carry gadgets, because they don't need them.I'm planting trees with my site. The word fursona is derived from the words furry and persona. In terms of names there seem to be 2 types. The other type is just a made up name, which, from what I've seen around the web, could be a whole range of things.

The first 5 names in this generator will be such fursona names. Since they can seemingly be a broad range on the internet, the range in this generator is very varied as well. The last 5 names are the adjective based names. From what I've seen, these names seem to be seen as stereotypical, but I honestly couldn't tell you if they're bad or not, I guess it depends on the people you hang around with.

Anything you guys wanna see in a character? Persona Appearance: Multi-colored skin, pure white hair, nude except for vines covering body, flowers grow from these vines, surrounded by petals.

Back Story: Misata is constantly caught in the monotony of life. He feels that he can't be strong for himself; which leads to his rather horrendous mood swings. His friends begin to worry for him and he just pushes them away - afraid of hurting others and wanting someone to take him away from it all.

Throughout the week his mood swings started; strange things began happening. He began receiving poorly written notes; "Save me. And the strangest of all; whenever he looked in the mirror, his reflection distorted to where he could only see a faint single rose with many thorns. The Mirror World; a place of twisted reverie. Filled with shadows and only accessible by those who are targeted by their shadows; who are tired of being repressed.

It is said when strange occurrences happen to an individual, it is their shadow trying to bring them to the other side. Back Story: Junichi has been trying his best to cope with the loss of his mother; he hated his father and believed with all his heart that it was by his Father's overbearing and violent nature that his mother killed herself. On top of that every guy he tried to talk to lost interest in him - he tried even harder to get anyone's attention.

Everything just seemed to be getting worse. Strange events happened to him too; he began losing things of importance, he tripped and clutzed around more, everything he tried to make ended messed up. His reflection distorted into a faint red aura, surrounding his mother's watch. A wild lush garden filled with flowers; mainly red roses representing Misata's lusty feelings and withered sun-flowers in the shadows representing Junichi's misfortune by growing in place that doesn't promote growth.

A Palace is a manifestation of "distortion", strong negative and corrupt thoughts that warp the perceptions of people into a hazard for themselves and others for example, seeing all other people as living ATMs. According to Morgana, most people's negative and corrupt thoughts are blended together into the Metaverse in a location called Mementoswhich is a Palace for all of humanity. However, particularly corrupt individuals manifest personal Palaces that is solely inhabited by their Shadow Self.

Not all of them are formed by corrupt individuals however, as Futaba's Palace is fueled by Futaba Sakura 's suicidal thoughts and suppressed memories of her mother and Maruki's Palace is created out of the suffering of Takuto Maruki 's girlfriend Rumi and to subsequently end the suffering of humanity in general. This suggests that extreme negative emotions or psychological trauma can also cause a Palace to form.

If the Palace is formed by said reasons, objects containing it will appear in their own Palaces as they represent subconscious knowledge, so it is possible for its owner to enter it and recollect or for other people to view them.

The hosts of Palaces are often unaware of its existence, and if they were infiltrated by someone, they will not generate any adverse effects for its hosts in the real world until the Palace is destroyed or the host's Shadow Self is killed.

All Palaces draw in Shadowswhich help to protect them and fend off intruders and cognitive existences projected by the host appear in the Palace, which are either passive, as in the case of Princess Ann in Kamoshida's Palace or pose a threat to intruders such as the robots in Okumura's Palace. The stronger the person's corruption, the stronger the Shadows will be in the Palace.

While cognitive existences do not affect their counterparts in reality, the Shadows still represent the unconsciousness there, so the Phantom Thieves of Hearts establish code names for all of their members to avoid identity exposure during their infiltration. Also, Morgana states that directly entering from the main entrance of a Palace is a no-go option for a Phantom Thief, since that will alert any Shadows inside the Palace to take action.

To activate access to a Palace, it requires to input the Metaverse Navigator app with four pieces of crucial information by either voice or typing: full name of the host, location of the Palace in reality, title of the host and the form the Palace takes. The Metaverse Navigator will afterward permanently remember the palace E. G: Pervert Castle as Kamoshida's Palace and remove it only if it is ever destroyed.

Palaces serve as the main battleground for the Phantom Thieves and the ones explored by them in game each represent one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Deep within a Palace is a Treasurea physical representation of the Palace owner's wicked or negative thoughts and desires. Once the Phantom Thieves of Hearts successfully infiltrate a Palace, find the treasure, and establish an escape route, they send a calling card to the owner in the real world in order for the Treasure to take on a physical form.

Once a Treasure has been taken and the Shadow Self of the owner has been defeated, the Palace immediately crumbles and permanently disappears, and the host's personality will undergo a massive change. The Treasures can be taken into the real world and can be pawned off. For the Phantom Thieves, the Treasures are used to fund their activities. The Thieves will have a deadline to complete a Palace each time it is unlocked.

If this deadline is not met, a game over scene will be triggered. Exploring a Palace takes out the entire daytime period and there will be a deadline for the initial infiltration, the exploration round, sending a calling card to the target and stealing the treasure. Clearing them before the deadline is of utmost importance in a day's time, and should be performed before all other activities if possible unless the player has excellent time management.

Clearing most of them takes 3 days as one day after the exploration is required to send the calling card and the following day after doing so the Thieves will be forced inside the Palace.

Therefore, exploring a Palace during the last 3 days prior to deadline Or in Madarame or Niijima's case, 5 days and 4 days prior to deadline, respectively will still result in a game over. In the cases of the Depths of Mementos and the Qlipoth World, both dungeons are cleared in just one day due to plot reasons. If the host's desires are destroyed by the intruder, that person's mental state will deteriorate in the real world and almost enter the vegetative state. They are a major thematic element of the Persona series.

The Arcana are divided into the Major Arcana 22 unique cards and the Minor Arcana four suits of 14 cards each, not unlike those of traditional playing cards. In the Persona series, the Personas' Arcana are functionally equivalent to demon races. These racial equivalences were partially kept in Persona 2 and abandoned in Persona 3 onwards. In Persona 3 and later games, each Arcana has a Social Link or Confidant related to it, usually with a "story arc" that represents the Arcana its related to.

Each Persona user usually has an Arcana they are related to as well, usually defined by their first Persona. Personas from the minor Arcana are featured in these games via mutation only. These Personas cannot be summoned normally in the Velvet Room nor their tarot cards ever exist.

The Minor Arcana cards appear during Shuffle Time and grant the player various effects depending on which card is chosen:.

Arcana is only applied to Main Personas and Sub-personas that player characters can use; Shadows do not have an Arcana in this series, even though the bulk of enemies are generic Arcana Shadows.

In the Persona 2 games, due to the way the contact system is built, all enemies are classified under an Arcana. However, some of those aren't present in the tarot deck, being more akin to races. However, the game does acknowledge them as such and refers to them by "Arcana". They are:. Sign In Don't have an account? Start a Wiki. Contents [ show ]. Fool Arcana. Magician Arcana.
